The right series and when to replace

GET parts come in series that depend on machine size, so the tooth, adapter and pin should be from the same series. Search the number on your current tooth, or use the Part finder by machine model. For many teeth and pins at once, use Paste a parts list.

Renewing teeth before they go blunt and before they damage the adapter reduces both fuel use and wear on the bucket body. End bits and cutting edges can be rotated or must be replaced once they reach the thickness limit.

Frequently asked questions

When should a bucket tooth be replaced?

Replace it when the tip is blunt and penetration drops, or when wear is close to the adapter.

Must tooth, adapter and pin be the same series?

Yes. Mixing series causes poor seating and early wear.

Can a cutting edge be rotated?

If the design allows it and the bolt holes are sound, a worn edge can be turned; please check its condition.
